8th Grade Promotion Ceremony Information

We are excited to celebrate our 8th-grade students at the Nettle Middle School Promotion Ceremony on Monday, June 15.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, and all students must arrive no later than 4:00 PM.

Please note that district policy requires students to be present in school in order to participate in after-school activities. If your child needs to be dismissed from school earlier in the day, they cannot be dismissed prior to 11:30 AM and remain eligible to participate in the promotion ceremony.

The event is scheduled to take place outdoors in the recess area. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets so they have a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the ceremony, as seating will not be provided.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the school gymnasium.

We anticipate heavy traffic due to the large number of guests attending. Please allow extra time for arrival and plan accordingly.
