Welcome, Nettle Middle School Families!

Dear Nettle Middle School Parents and Caregivers,

It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I welcome you to a new school year at Nettle Middle School! I am honored to join the Nettle community as your new principal and look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff.

Middle school is an important time in a young person's life—a time of growth, discovery, challenges, and opportunities. My goal is to ensure that every student at Nettle feels safe, supported, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential.

As the proud home of the Nettle Knights, we will work together to build a school community grounded in respect, responsibility, kindness, and achievement. I believe that our greatest successes happen when schools and families work as partners. Our partnership, communication, and support are essential to creating a positive experience for every student.

It has been a busy beginning of the year, hence why my first communication is a bit late.  I encourage you to reach out, ask questions, share ideas, and become involved in our school community. Together, we can create an environment where our Knights are inspired to learn, encouraged to grow, and empowered to succeed.

I am excited about the year ahead and everything that we will accomplish together. Thank you for welcoming me into the Nettle family. I look forward to a wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, achievement, and Knight pride!

ATHLETIC NEWS: 

Girls soccer tryouts: grades 6-8

Monday 9/14 and Tuesday 9/15 3-4:30. Meet in the gym. Students must be picked up at 4:30.                   

Boys soccer tryouts: grades 6-8. 

Wednesday, 9/16, 2:45-4:00 pm. Students must be picked up at 4:00 pm.

Cross-country:

Meeting for students interested in grades 5-8: 

Thursday, 9/17, 2:45-3:15, in the library.

First practice is Tuesday, 9/22, 2:45-3:45 pm. 

Badminton club:

Starts Thursday,  9/17 in the gym. 2:45-4:00 pm: Permission slips are in the office.
