As you know, Massachusetts is in a “State of Emergency” due to Coronavirus (covid-19). Haverhill Public Schools is following all guidelines recommended by the Governor, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and our Health Department. These guidelines are put into place to protect you along with all of our students and staff. We are now being told that all out of state trips should be canceled, including the Washington D.C. trip for grade 8 students. We are working with the travel agencies on refunds and/or all other options for our students. As we receive more information, we will share it with you. Nettle Middle School will also be postponing the Multicultural Night scheduled for March 19th. Once we have determined a new date we will share it with everyone.

We have received questions regarding other school activities including athletics, clubs, academic bowl, and events and field trips after April 1st. At this time all are scheduled to continue as usual. If that changes we will be in contact with everyone again.
